Awards are given in public [[Court]] by [[the Crown]] or by Their [[Regent]]s. These awards can come in two forms: an Award or [[Companion]]ship in an [[Order]]. Awards can be received multiple times by an individual or group while Companionship in an Order is only made once (although it has been know to be ''reconfirmed'' from time to time). [[Barony|Baronies]] also have specific [[Baronial Awards]] or [[Baronial Orders|Orders]] they may give. While some high level Orders may have polling of their members, it is up to the Crown's discretion who will be given an award or entered into an Order.

Some [[Household]]s, [[Guild]]s and non-Barony branches have un-official awards they may give that do not convey any [[precedence]] and are not recognized outside of that group.
